For internally displaced persons from temporarily occupied territories, the state is launching a new instrument within the program “eRecovery”.
This was reported on the website of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.
These are housing vouchers worth 2 million UAH, which can be received by people with the status of combatants or persons with disabilities as a result of the war.
The funds can be used to purchase housing — both on the primary and secondary markets, to invest in new construction, or to pay the down payment on a mortgage.
The program has already started, and after the completion of budgetary procedures recipients will be able to reserve funds and use the vouchers to resolve housing issues, in particular in cases where housing remained in the temporarily occupied territories (TOT).
The geography of applications for the program covers 23 regions of Ukraine and the city of Kyiv.
Earlier we wrote that the Kherson MVA approved the provision of housing vouchers for 30 IDPs from temporarily occupied territories.
