The occupiers have completely destroyed the infrastructure of the Oleshky community in the Kherson region. Currently, about 6,000 reports of damaged and destroyed residents’ property have been officially recorded.
This was reported on Radio Kultura by the head of the Oleshky city military administration, Tetiana Hasanenko.
According to her, this figure is not final, since some residents, for various reasons, are still in the process of establishing ownership rights to real estate. Currently, 73 court cases related to the untimely entry of data into the relevant registers are being considered.
The official emphasized that in the community, as a result of the occupying forces’ actions, absolutely all educational institutions — both preschools and general secondary schools — have been destroyed or ruined. In addition, roads and gas distribution stations have sustained large-scale damage.
“The community has experienced such a level of devastation and killing of people that it is hard to compare it in the modern world even with any man-made disaster. And all of this was done intentionally,” emphasized Tetiana Hasanenko.
Earlier we wrote that in occupied Oleshky prices for food at the local market have increased severalfold.
Recall that in June 2026 the Russian Federation finally acknowledged a humanitarian catastrophe in Oleshky.
Ukraine called on the UN Secretary-General and international partners to pressure Russia to ensure compliance with the norms of international humanitarian law and to create safe conditions for the evacuation of civilians.
