In occupied Petrivka of Hanycheskyi district, meltwater threatens to flood residential houses.
This is reported by pro-Russian pages, citing footage from eyewitnesses.
According to local residents, despite the occupation authorities’ claims of “control over the situation” and allegedly diverting the water into a safe channel, the real picture remains threatening. In the footage sent it can be seen that meltwater stands right up against fences and house foundations.
Residents fear that if weather conditions worsen their homes will be completely flooded. Meanwhile, the local occupation authorities are not taking effective measures to clear drainage channels or pump out the water.
Earlier, the occupation governor of Kherson region Volodymyr Saldo said that foreigners “have expressed a desire” to move to the left bank of the region.
