As of 24 June, no food supplies have arrived in Oleshky on the left bank of the Kherson region since 26 May. According to local residents, the last grocery store here stopped operating in January due to a shortage of goods.
This is stated in the latest MMPLU report.
Residents also reported that ambulances have stopped coming to people’s homes, and medical assistance is provided only in emergency cases.
“As of 24 June, four wounded civilians who were in the hospital in Oleshky required transportation to Skadovsk for further treatment, but it was impossible to evacuate them. Recently, one patient who was waiting for transport died in the hospital”, – the MMPLU report said.
Recall that in June 2026 Russia finally recognized a humanitarian catastrophe in Oleshky.
Ukraine urged the UN Secretary-General and international partners to influence Russia to ensure compliance with international humanitarian law and to create safe conditions for the evacuation of civilians.
More than 6,000 residents of the occupied part of the Kherson region may need humanitarian assistance, including about 200 children. Most of them have limited mobility.
