From now on, natural persons or self-employed individuals in the agricultural sector will also be able to use the cost compensation program for humanitarian demining.
This was reported on the website of the Ministry of Economy, Environment and Agriculture of Ukraine.
Today the government made amendments to the Procedure for the use of funds provided in the state budget to compensate expenses for humanitarian demining of agricultural land.
The changes to the resolution come into force 10 working days after their adoption.
According to the document, the owner of a land plot can submit an application through the State Agrarian Register or do it independently using an electronic signature.
Applications are submitted to local administrations at the location of the plot, where they will be considered by the administrations within three days, after which they will be forwarded monthly to the Humanitarian Demining Center (HDC).
The HDC may refuse humanitarian demining in case of an unfavorable security situation, lack of information about contamination or probable contamination of the plot, or non-compliance of the lands or agricultural producers with the conditions of the procedure.
Earlier MOST wrote that in Kherson region they approved pilot project on demining the settlements of the Kalynivska and Velykooleksandrivska communities.
In addition, we wrote that 65 % of the lands of the de-occupied part of Kherson region have already been demined, the majority of them are agricultural land.
