The government is lifting restrictions on crossing the border for all women without exception, regardless of the positions they hold in state authorities, local self-government, state enterprises, and courts.
This was announced by the Prime Minister of Ukraine Yuliia Svyrydenko.
Recall that in January 2023 the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, by Resolution No. 69, prohibited border crossings for all deputies of local councils, regardless of their military service obligation, including women, persons with disabilities, and pensioners.
On August 27, 2025 the Cabinet adopted a resolution allowing women deputies of local councils who serve on a voluntary basis to freely cross the state border during martial law.
