As a result of another shelling of the Kherson CHP that took place on December 28, one of the employees was injured.
This was reported on Facebook by the chairman of the board of NJSC “Naftogaz of Ukraine”, Serhiy Koretskyi.
According to him, the injured person is currently in hospital — she is receiving the necessary assistance.
“The station has sustained significant damage. Efforts to eliminate the consequences are ongoing. Kherson CHP was the only source of heat for tens of thousands of apartments in the city. The enemy attacks the station almost daily. We are coordinating our actions with local authorities to ensure backup heating methods for the city’s residents,” wrote Koretskyi.
Recall that on December 4, as a result of systematic Russian shelling, Kherson CHP ceased operation. It is impossible to predict the timeline for restoration due to the danger to repair crews.
According to the latest data from HOVA, without heating in the city 10,000 subscribers remain without heating. Some have already begun receiving heaters.
