Today the train from Kherson to Mykolaiv departed late due to air raid alerts and the threat of enemy shelling.
The head of the Kherson City Military Administration, Yaroslav Shanko, reported this.
Ukrzaliznytsia has made changes to the schedules of a number of trains; some routes have been canceled.
«This affects the logistics of evacuation measures that are constantly being carried out in our community. At the moment, people who have decided to leave the danger zone can reach the western part of the country by the train “Mykolaiv – Lviv”», – he said.
So that 12 residents of the Kherson community could make their connection to the subsequent train “Mykolaiv – Lviv”, the Kherson City Military Administration organized a bus for them.
Recall, on March 12 Ukrzaliznytsia temporarily changed the schedule of suburban trains due to intensified Russian shelling of the railway infrastructure in southern Ukraine.
