This year 21.6 million UAH will be spent on constructing a shelter at the Vysokopilskyi support institution of general secondary education instead of 23 million UAH.
As stated on the portal Prozorro, on October 10 the institution signed a contract with LLC “Avtointerstroy” from Donetsk region.
According to the contract, by September 2026 the contractor must complete the roof, water supply, fire protection system, heating, thermal and waterproofing insulation, purchase and install a solar power plant, arrange the surrounding territory and carry out related works.
The construction is funded from a state budget subvention intended for arranging safe conditions in general secondary education institutions, as well as part of the local budget.
It is worth noting that in July last year LLC “Avtointerstroy” had already received a contract for the construction of a shelter at the same institution. At that time the total construction amount stood at 81.7 million UAH (55.9 million UAH in 2024 and 23.7 million UAH – in 2025). However, as stated on Prozorro, due to adjustments to the design and estimate documentation the scope of the procurement was reduced, so the school signed a new contract with the same contractor, but for a different payment amount in 2025-26.
According to the latest data from Spending, for construction works on this project the company has already received 61.2 million UAH.
It should be noted that, according to media reports, in 2017 LLC “Avtointerstroy” was implicated in a criminal case concerning embezzlement of budget funds and was accused of unfair competition, as well as of purchasing building materials at inflated prices.
