According to eyewitnesses, Russian military equipment and fuel tankers were encircled during drone strikes on the highway.
As a result of the attacks and the disruption of logistics on the approaches to the Kerch Strait, queues formed. The occupiers’ vehicles that managed to reach the crossings are forced to wait 3–4 days to be loaded onto ferries.

Recall, at the end of May the Armed Forces of Ukraine carried out a series of strikes on the occupiers’ equipment in the temporarily occupied territory of the Kherson region. In particular, the land corridor to Crimea land corridor to Crimea.
In connection with this, the occupation governor Volodymyr Saldo signed a decree on the temporary restriction of freight traffic along route R-280 “Novorossiya”.
In addition, Saldo said that on the left bank of the Kherson region they would create “volunteer battalion” BARS “Kherson”, which is to counter Ukrainian drones.
Earlier, spokesman of the Ukrainian Navy Dmytro Pletenchuk reported that Russia may be forced to use the Kerch Bridge more actively to transport military cargo and fuel against the backdrop of reserve depletion and problems with ferry logistics.
