The Kherson City Military Administration has made changes to the Program for the Development of Physical Culture and Sports, defining the amounts of support for athletes and coaches for 2026.
The corresponding order was signed by the head of the Kherson City Military Administration, Yaroslav Shanko.
According to the program update, in 2026 funding for the “Development of High-Performance Sport” direction is planned to be increased to UAH 1.4 million.
In particular, in 2025 UAH 130,000 were allocated for awards to the city’s best coaches, while in 2026 this amount will nearly double — to UAH 225,000. Payments to the community’s best athletes for the next year are estimated at UAH 500,000.
