Strikes on Russian logistics in the temporarily occupied south of Ukraine — are part of a multi-stage operation that has been ongoing for years.
This was stated on the telethon by the spokesman for the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Dmytro Pletenchuk.
“We are observing another stage of the multi-stage operation. It is not even about months, but about years”, – he said.
According to Pletenchuk, during this operation, naval logistics were destroyed first, then – railway ferries, simultaneously air defenses and targets in the so-called land corridor that runs through the temporarily occupied territories of the Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions were destroyed, which the Russians present as an achievement within the framework of the so-called “SMO”.
“Everything essentially comes down to the so-called Crimean Bridge. Here we will see in dynamics how this situation will develop”, – Pletenchuk emphasized.
Recall that during June the Armed Forces of Ukraine attacked a number of logistics facilities in the temporarily occupied territories of Kherson region and on the administrative boundary with Crimea.
In particular, bridges over the North Crimean Canal in the area of Preobrazhenka and Myrne, the road bridge on the Perekop — Armyansk route, as well as the bridge in the area of the settlement of Stavky, came under fire.
Days earlier the Chonhar bridge and one of the bridges that connects Henichesk and the Arabat Spit were struck.
According to the Ukrainian military, due to the strike on the Chonhar bridge supplies were disrupted to Russian forces through Crimea.
