A student of the Kakhovka Gymnasium, Daria Makhynia, filmed her own documentary short titled “The Road Home”.
This was reported by the Kakhovka City Military Administration, citing the film.
Daria says that in her film, through her own story, she sought to convey the scale of the ecological catastrophe caused by the full-scale war.
“The Road Home” – a documentary film that, through the fate of the Kherson region and native Kakhovka, shows the scale of the ecocide caused by the war. It is an honest story about the loss of home and the path to its restoration – a call to protect the environment and preserve our Earth for future generations, reads the film’s description.
The short film can be viewed on Daria Makhynia’s channel on YouTube.
