A student of Kherson Lyceum No. 6, Sofiya Markanych, took second place at the Lviv Open Cup – 2026 in taekwondo.
This was reported by the Department of Education of the Kherson City Council.
The competition took place on March 6 in Lviv and brought together athletes from different regions of Ukraine. The Kherson lyceum student competed in the 68+ kg weight category among juniors.
It should be recalled that the trainee of the Kherson Children’s and Youth Physical Training Club No. 5, Mykyta Furyk became a prize-winner at the jiu-jitsu competition in Khmelnytskyi.
