A student of Kherson Lyceum No. 1, Dmytro Shtuchka, became a finalist of the national selection of the GENIUS Olympiad Ukraine competition in the “Programming” category.
This was reported by the Department of Education of the Kherson City Council.
Based on the results of the competition, the lyceum student entered the top twelve participants out of 48 contenders from across the country. Dmytro received a “GENIUS Eco-pass”, which grants the right to represent the city of Kherson at the national final of the “GENIUS Olympiad Ukraine”, which will be held in March 2026.
The student’s preparation was carried out by mentor Natalia Zolotarevska.
Earlier we wrote that a pupil of the Kherson Children’s and Youth Sports School for Chess and Checkers, Artur Bibik, took second place at an international children’s rapid chess tournament in France.
