The repair of the first shelter in Zelenivka of the Kherson community has been completed.
This was reported by the Kherson Regional Military Administration.
They noted that there was no safe room for local residents in Zelenivka.
“And now, here instead of a battered basement – a spacious and safe facility. 220 square meters have been renovated. During shelling, about 350 people can be present here at the same time. Specialists who assist community residents will work in the premises: they will provide humanitarian, legal, and psychological support. And, most importantly, it is a place where people can shelter from Russian attacks”, – the post reads.
Note that, as of January 2026 in Kherson 344 shelters have already been arranged.
