At the National Museum “Kyiv Picture Gallery” on November 18 an exhibition “Mykhailo Andriienko-Nechytailo. Kherson — Paris” will open.
This is reported on the museum’s website.
As noted in the announcement, this is the first solo exhibition in the history of Ukraine of the outstanding Ukrainian artist Mykhailo Andriienko-Nechytailo, who considered Kherson his hometown.
“On the eve of the full-scale war the Kherson Regional Art Museum named after Oleksiy Shovkunenko received as a gift 10 works by the artist. These works had not been exhibited in Ukraine before. Now they, as well as works from the private collections of the French collector Jean-Claude Marcade, will be presented at a chamber exhibition”, – the announcement reads.
