On June 21, 2026, at about 16:30, Russian forces attacked Sofiivka with a drone; as a result of the strike, a 42-year-old local woman was killed.
This was reported by the Kherson Regional Prosecutor’s Office.
According to the investigation, the woman was on the street during the attack.
As a reminder, on June 20 at about 13:45 Russian army forces attacked with a UAV one of the streets in the village of Chaichyne in Kherson district, as a result of which a 41-year-old man was killed.
