In Skadovsk, the occupiers have banned swimming in the sea because the beaches are not ready.
Pro-Russian media report this.
It is reported that as of the end of June 2026, sanitary checks of the water and the shoreline have not been completed on the coast, rescue posts have not been deployed, and the beach areas are not equipped according to safety standards.
The occupation authorities urge residents to refrain from spending time by the water, stating that going onto the beaches and swimming in the current conditions threaten life and health.
In mid-June, the occupation governor of Kherson region, Volodymyr Saldo, claimed that people are returning to the region to relax on local beaches.
Obviously, Saldo did not mention that on the left bank this summer no official beach will operate.
