On the temporarily occupied territory of the Kherson region, rolling power outages were introduced in the so-called Velykolepetyskyi and Hornostaivskyi districts (territorial unit introduced by the occupation authorities, analogous to a community, – MOST).
This is reported by Russia-controlled media.
According to the occupiers, electricity supply in these districts will be carried out alternately — power will be supplied for 24 hours, after which a shutdown will occur and the rotation will switch to the other district.
Earlier rolling power outages had already been introduced in the temporarily occupied part of Kherson region due to an emergency capacity shortfall.
Recall, last year the occupation governor of Kherson region Volodymyr Saldo promised to ensure “stable electricity supply” on the left bank of the region. According to him, the occupiers plan to replace worn-out power cables to “ensure a reliable supply of electricity”.
