The Kherson regional branch of the party «United Russia» together with the regional government will develop a draft state program «New Stanitsa. Combat Reserve».

The project was presented by First Deputy Governor Pavlo Shuvalkin at the reporting forum on the implementation of the party’s «people’s program». Veterans of the war against Ukraine will be offered preferential land plots and loans for individual housing construction based on standard designs. At the same time, they will be able to choose land in other districts of the region as well.
“A standard design for such settlements for “SVO” veterans who express a desire to settle in border areas with enrollment into the combat army reserve was developed by Kherson Technical University and can be taken as a basis as part of this project,” Pavlo Shuvalkin said.
Which specific “border lands” they mean, occupation officials did not specify.
He added that this idea is an analogue of the Caucasian border line of the 18th–19th centuries, “formed from Cossack settlements”.
