In the village of Posad-Pokrovske in Kherson region, which is being rebuilt under the comprehensive restoration of settlements project, this year they plan to begin work to restore the school and the administrative building-club.
This was reported on Facebook by the First Deputy Head of the State Agency for Restoration and Development of Infrastructure of Ukraine, Mykola Boyko.
According to him, design documentation has already been developed for both projects, and construction work is expected to begin by the end of the year.
Currently, 234 houses are also being built in Posad-Pokrovske. On 67 of them work is already at the final stage — interior finishing is being carried out, and plumbing and equipment are being installed, the official noted.
In addition to housing, a safety center and an outpatient clinic are being built in the village, and the street and road network on 21 streets is being restored, the report says.
The village of Posad-Pokrovske is located in the Chornobaivka community of Kherson region. Most buildings in the village were destroyed during the fighting on the right bank of the region in 2022. In spring 2023 the settlement was included in the comprehensive restoration project.
Reconstruction in Posad-Pokrovske began, but stopped in 2024. In August it became known that the Cabinet of Ministers again allocated funds for construction.
Last year the restoration of Posad-Pokrovske became the most expensive frontline construction in Ukraine.
