A Russian strike drone hit a residential apartment building in a suburb of Kherson; as a result of the attack, apartments on the sixth floor caught fire.
This was reported by the State Emergency Service in Kherson Oblast.
During the firefighting operation, rescuers found an elderly woman who was in a smoke-filled apartment on the ninth floor and could not get out on her own.
Rescuers put a rescue hood on the victim to protect her airways and carried her to a safe place.
Information about the woman’s condition and the extent of the damage is being clarified. The circumstances of the attack are being documented by the relevant services.

Recall that since the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion, as a result of Russian shelling in Kherson Oblast 1650 civilian residents have died, including 45 children. More than 7,000 people have been wounded, including 273 children.
