A new shelter has been set up in a historic building in Novovorontsovka.
This was reported by the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin.
According to him, Novovorontsovka constantly suffers from Russian shelling and drone attacks.
Recently, a shelter of about 48 square meters was set up in one of the historic buildings. It is already being used to allow safe work for municipal institution employees, volunteers, and social workers.
In total, 29 shelters have already been arranged in Novovorontsovka, of which eight are mobile protective structures located in places with the highest concentration of people.
Earlier it was reported that Kherson Oblast was included in the list of regions that will receive state funding to equip shelters in educational institutions.
