At the Lesya Ukrainka Theatre in Lviv on June 6 and 14, the premiere of a performative reading of the play “The Water Carries Halya” by Ukrainian playwright Oksana Hrytsenko will take place.

At the heart of the plot – the story of ambulance paramedic Halyna, who, under Russian shelling, drives a wounded man to a hospital in Kherson. The main heroine is from the village of Kardashynka, which was affected after the Kakhovka Hydroelectric Power Plant was blown up.
According to the plot, the woman survived the flooding, saved the man and, despite what she had experienced, returned to Kherson to continue working as a paramedic.
Earlier it was reported that in Kyiv will take place the world premiere of the concert version of the opera “Mothers of Kherson”.
