The Coordination Headquarters confirmed the capture of the great-grandson of CPSU Central Committee General Secretary Leonid Brezhnev, who was fighting against Ukraine.
This was reported by Babel, citing its own sources in the headquarters.
Recall, the adoptive great-grandson of the Soviet general secretary, 45-year-old Anton Milaev, was taken prisoner in the Kherson region.
It is known that Anton Milaev is the adoptive grandson of Brezhnev’s daughter — Galina. In the fall of 2025 he voluntarily signed a contract with the Russian Ministry of Defence and went to fight against Ukraine as a sapper. By November of last year the occupier stopped getting in touch with his relatives.
Later his family learned that Milaev is alive and is being held captive on Ukrainian-controlled territory in the Kherson region.
