The leader of a religious community from Kherson region killed four people in Kyiv.
This concerns a fatal car accident that occurred today in Kyiv. According to the capital’s media, the driver of a Mercedes-Benz lost control, after which the car drove into an underground pedestrian underpass where people were present. As a result of the crash four people were killed and three others were injured.
As MOST established, the person behind the wheel may have been 49-year-old leader of the Evangelical Christian Baptists religious community “Church of the village Pidstepne” Pavlo Pleshivtsev.
“Church of the village Pidstepne” is registered in the village of Pidstepne of the Oleshky community on the left bank of the Kherson region. It is likely that Pleshivtsev himself is from there.
As reported on the website of the Office of the Prosecutor General, law enforcement has opened a criminal proceeding over the accident. The pre-trial investigation is being conducted under part 3 of Article 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
