In the Kherson Regional Military Administration (OVA) they updated the criteria for identifying enterprises important for the region’s communities.
The order was signed by the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin.
Compliance with these requirements allows companies to claim the status of critically important for the region’s economy, which is a basis for subsequent reservation of employees liable for military service during the period of mobilization.
The new document differentiates conditions for each sector. For the extractive and processing industries it is necessary to meet two or more criteria, among which are payment to the local budget of more than 2 million hryvnias in taxes per year, a staff of at least 50 people, or product sales totaling at least 25 million hryvnias. In the housing and communal services sector, status can be granted to enterprises whose facilities are classified as critical infrastructure, as well as entities that directly provide communities with water, heat, gas, electricity or are engaged in landscaping and waste management.
For construction and road companies, the requirements are related to the restoration of damaged social or critical infrastructure facilities, the construction of military fortifications totaling at least 1 million hryvnias, or the repair and maintenance of public roads with a total value of works of not less than 10 million hryvnias over the last 12 months.
Separate specific criteria are set out for the transport, education, healthcare, culture and agriculture sectors, where considerations include volumes of humanitarian cargo transportation, the presence of round-the-clock intensive care units, or the implementation of evacuation and cultural projects in de-occupied territories.
