As of the beginning of November, the communities of Kherson district sowed winter crops on 11 829,2 hectares of agricultural land.
This was reported by the head of the Department of Economic, Agro-Industrial and Spatial Development of Territories, Investments and Housing and Communal Services of the Kherson District Military Administration, Inna Kolbaieva, in a comment to the publication «Bilozerka.info».
According to her, sowing began in September with winter rapeseed. At the beginning of the month, 80 hectares were sown with rapeseed in the Bilozerka community and 200 hectares in the Daryivska community.
Later, the Stanislavska community joined the sowing, where 100 hectares were sown, and in the Bilozerka territorial community they added another 20 hectares.
In total, 2 118 hectares were allocated to winter rapeseed in five communities of the liberated right bank of Kherson region. The largest areas — 1 168 hectares — were sown in the Chornobaivska community.
In the Muzykivska community they also sowed 15 hectares of winter rye.
Winter barley is being grown in the Stanislavska, Bilozerka, Daryivska, Muzykivska and Chornobaivska communities. In total, 1 555,2 hectares are allocated for this crop.
The largest areas under winter wheat and triticale are concentrated in the Daryivska community — 4 390 hectares.
A total of 10 259 hectares of agricultural land are used for winter wheat and triticale.
Recall, in 2025 in Kherson region they recorded almost 100 thousand hectares of completely destroyed harvests. The greatest losses were suffered by grain and industrial crops in the Beryslav district, because it is located closest to the destroyed Kakhovka reservoir.
Earlier we wrote that as of October 16 Kherson region demonstrates the lowest corn yield among all regions of Ukraine – only 0.20 t/ha.
