The court found guilty the paramedic of the medical service of the Kherson Regional Territorial Center for Recruitment and Social Support, Yuliia Hripas, of complicity in receiving an undue benefit and imposed a fine and a ban on working in military-medical commissions for three years.
This is stated in the court’s verdict.
The investigation established that in 2025 Hripas, acting as an accomplice to the head of the non-staff military-medical commission of the Kherson City Clinical Hospital named after Afanasy and Olga Tropinykh, aided in the extortion and receipt of an undue benefit from a person liable for military service for the issuance of medical conclusions by the military-medical commission.
According to case materials, during the period from July to September 2025 the defendant received and passed on part of the funds for facilitating decisions on temporary unfitness and subsequent conclusions of the military-medical commission. The total amount of the undue benefit was 1,700 US dollars.
The court qualified her actions under Part 5 of Art. 27, Part 1 of Art. 368 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (complicity in the receipt of an undue benefit by an official).
Yuliia Hripas was fined 71,400 hryvnias and banned from holding positions within military-medical commissions for three years. The court also ordered the confiscation of part of the funds obtained as part of the criminal scheme.
