A targeted fund has been created in Kherson to address the community’s urgent needs. This fund will operate until 2030 as part of the city’s special budget.
The corresponding order by the head of the Kherson MVA, Yaroslav Shanko, was published on the KhMVA website.
The main idea behind creating the fund — to find additional funds for the development of culture and the social sector, as well as for residents’ urgent needs that arise during the year.
As stated in the document, the fund will be financed by voluntary donations from entrepreneurs and ordinary people, charitable contributions, and international grants.
The funds received will be spent on the repair and construction of new recreation areas, squares and playgrounds, and will be directed to roof repairs and pipe replacements in schools, kindergartens and hospitals, etc.
