In Kherson, distribution of gas heaters has begun for residents whose homes were left without centralized heating as a result of repeated strikes by Russian forces on the energy infrastructure.
This was reported by the head of the Kherson MCA, Yaroslav Shanko.
Assistance is primarily being received by vulnerable groups of the population of the Dnipro District who live in buildings connected to the networks of the Kherson thermal power plant.
The supply of equipment became possible thanks to a joint initiative of the Kherson MCA and the regional administration, which appealed to partners for humanitarian support. The heaters were provided by NAK “Naftogaz of Ukraine” and the charitable foundation “Hardened Hearts”.
Recall, earlier to Kherson about 500 gas heaters together with cylinders of liquefied gas were delivered.
