In Kherson a police officer hit a pedestrian who was crossing the roadway – the man died. His identity is currently being established by law enforcement.
This was reported by the Kherson Regional Police.
“It has been preliminarily established that a police officer of Police Department No.2 (Korabelnyi) of the Kherson District Police Department, while part of an investigative-operational group, was driving the service vehicle Renault Express. While traveling along 200th Anniversary of Kherson Avenue, near the intersection with Karbysheva Street, he struck a pedestrian who was crossing the roadway. The man died at the scene from the injuries sustained”, – the post says.
The police are conducting an internal investigation.
