Changes were made to the city’s comprehensive program «Social Protection» in the Kherson City Military Administration.
The corresponding order was signed by the head of the administration, Yaroslav Shankom.
According to updated data, in 2025 UAH 51.8 million from the community budget is allocated for the implementation of the program’s measures.
The main part of the funds — over UAH 50.7 million — will be directed to providing targeted cash assistance to community residents.
Financial support is also provided for local public organizations: NGO of mothers of children with disabilities «Mother’s Heart» — UAH 247.7 thousand, NGO of war and labor veterans — UAH 156.7 thousand, NGO «Center for Family Rehabilitation of Disabled Children and Children with Disabling Diseases “Sofia”» — UAH 622.6 thousand.
Earlier we wrote that 98 children from the Kherson region who managed to return from the Russian Federation, the Republic of Belarus and the temporarily occupied territories, will be paid financial assistance.
