In 2026 in Kherson, more than 14 million UAH from the city territorial community budget were allocated for preventing accidents, emergencies and eliminating the consequences of natural disasters. This concerns financing work on housing stock, social infrastructure and the city’s communal enterprises.
The relevant order was signed by the head of the Kherson City Military Administration, Yaroslav Shanko.
The main executor of the works has been determined as KP «Parks of Kherson». The largest expenses within the plan are provided for the purchase of building materials — 5 million UAH and OSB panels — almost 5 million UAH. Funds will also be directed to the purchase of fuel and lubricants (over 2 million UAH), consumables (300 thousand UAH), tools and spare parts (over 150 thousand UAH).
Separately, 1 million UAH is planned to pay for the services of external organizations to close window openings, temporarily conserve load-bearing walls and roofs on housing stock and social infrastructure facilities damaged by shelling.
The total amount of funding in this direction is 14 071 756 hryvnias.
Recall, this year for the operation of KP «Kherson Municipal Transport Service» were allocated over 70 million UAH. And for the operation of KP «City Road Administration» of Kherson in 2026 will allocate over 26 million UAH.
