In Kherson, due to damage to the contact network caused by Russian shelling, trolleybus services on routes No. 11 and No. 12 have been temporarily suspended.
This was reported by the head of the Kherson MVA, Yaroslav Shanko.
According to him, the city’s electric transport contact network was damaged as a result of enemy attacks.
Until the completion of emergency repair works, trolleybuses on routes No. 11 and No. 12 will not run, the post says.
The timing for restoring trolleybus service has not yet been announced.
Earlier, Kherson planned to suspend trolleybus services on weekends. This was justified “reducing the risks to passengers and electric transport workers”.
However, it was later decided to continue the operation of trolleybuses on weekends.
