In Hola Prystan on the left bank of the Kherson region, mobile service and the internet have been disconnected for an indefinite period.
This is reported by pro-Russian media.
According to official explanations from representatives of the occupying ministry of digital development of the region, the cause of the collapse is “total destruction of infrastructure”. Operators’ base stations have been substantially damaged, and wired networks were destroyed already at the beginning of the full-scale invasion.
No forecasts for restoring the network are given. Residents are advised to use the services of several operators simultaneously, although in practice this helps little due to the absence of any signal.
Earlier, in July 2025, the Russian operator “Miranda” claimed, that coverage in occupied Kherson and Zaporizhzhia covers 95% of the population.
At the same time, the situation with communications in the temporarily occupied territories (TOT) of the Kherson region has remained difficult since 2022 – there is often no communication, especially in the front-line areas. Residents find it difficult to call each other even within the same settlement.
