In temporarily occupied Henichesk a regional headquarters was created to organize and conduct the all-Russian “military-patriotic” game “Zarnitsa 2.0”.
Occupying media report this.
According to the occupiers, the headquarters is to coordinate the preparation of the game and organize its staging in all municipal districts (territorial unit introduced by the occupation authorities, equivalent of a community, – МОСТ) of the temporarily occupied part of Kherson Oblast, in order to involve as many teenagers as possible.
“Zarnitsa” is a Soviet military-sports game for children and youth, which in Russia was revived in a new format under the name “Zarnitsa 2.0”. It is presented as a military-patriotic project for schoolchildren and students.
In September 2025, Russian occupiers took another group of Ukrainian children from the temporarily occupied territories, including from Kherson region, to the military-sports camp “Zarnitsa” in Volgograd.
Recall that sources of the Crimean Tatar Resource Center report an increased involvement of children in the occupied territories — in Crimea, Kherson and Zaporizhzhia regions — in events of so-called “patriotic education”.
Earlier, the head of the Save Ukraine fund, Mykola Kuleba, reported that the illegal authorities of the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine assist the Russians in taking children to Russian military camps, where they are prepared for future service in the army.
