As a result of a road traffic accident involving the leader of a religious community from the Kherson region, two police officers were killed — Senior Police Lieutenant Dmytro Bondarchuk and Police Lieutenant Denys Budchenko. They were performing their official duties.

This concerns the road traffic accident that occurred on June 5 in Kyiv.
According to the police, the driver of the Mercedes, who turned out to be the 49-year-old leader of the evangelical Christian Baptists religious community “Church of the village of Pidstepne” Pavlo Pleshivtsev, drove at high speed onto a pedestrian area.
As a result, two more people were killed — a 47-year-old woman and a 12-year-old boy. Two men and a woman with injuries are in the hospital.
According to the capital’s media, rescuers pulled the driver from the mangled vehicle. He is currently in the hospital under doctors’ supervision.
