A farewell was held in Cherkasy for the fallen serviceman from the Kherson region, Anton Rusyn. The defender was 24 years old.
This was reported by the mayor of Cherkasy, Anatoliy Bondarenko.
Anton was born and educated in the Kherson region.
He later enrolled in the Kherson Polytechnic Professional College, where he obtained the specialty of a 3D modeling technologist. Then he continued his studies at the Kherson National Technical University and obtained a qualification as a mechanical engineer.
Anton began his military service with conscription, and later signed a contract. He lived in Cherkasy. He served as a driver in the machine-gun platoon of his military unit.
The serviceman’s life was cut short as a result of an artillery strike on the firing position while carrying out a combat mission in the northeastern direction.
