In Chaplynka of Kakhovka district on the left bank of Kherson region, social bread is supplied to only 9 stores out of 33.
This was reported by the occupying governor of Kherson region Volodymyr Saldo.
“Of course, this is not the situation people would like to see”, – he noted.
The occupiers reported problems with social bread on the left bank of the region as early as January 2024. At that time in 6 out of 14 communities they stopped producing and selling it.
In August this year the illegal authorities stated that cereal yields in the region were 2.5 times lower than expected.
At the same time, agricultural products from the temporarily occupied territories of Kherson and Zaporizhzhia regions are being exported by the Russians to Belarus, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, as well as to Vietnam, India and China.
In addition, last year the occupation authorities stated that seven “Russia-friendly countries”, showed interest in purchasing food wheat from Kherson region. It was also reported that flour from the left bank of Kherson region was to be exported to countries in Asia, Africa and the Arab world.
