On August 1, 2022, during the daytime, servicemen of the occupying Russian Federation forces, while on the premises of a private household on Nikitina Street in the village of Velyka Oleksandrivka, Beryslavskyi district, Kherson region, shot a local resident with firearms. The victim was 60 years old.
