The tennis player from the Kherson region, Angelina Kalinina, got past the quarterfinal of the second “Challenger” WTA 125 in Antalya and reached the semifinals.

Kalinina, world No. 189, defeated Hungarian Panna Udvardy (WTA No. 95) – 7:6(3), 7:5.
In the first set Kalinina lost three games but won the tiebreak by a score of 7:3. In the second set the Ukrainian fought back from 1:3 and took the set 7:5. Kalinina’s next opponent in the semifinal will be Polish player Katarzyna Kawa (WTA No. 146), who beat Swiss Tamara Zidansek.
If she succeeds in the semifinal in Antalya, an all-Ukrainian final between Kalinina and Oleksandra Oliynykova could take place.
Recall that earlier Angelina Kalinina lost in the Ukrainian derby against Daria Snigur in the qualifying of the WTA 250 tournament in Romanian Cluj-Napoca.
