The illegal “head of the Association of Entrepreneurs and Employers” of Kherson region, Kherson resident Oleksandr Zaitsev, was notified of suspicion on three counts – collaborationism, public calls and justification of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation and the occupation of the territories of Ukraine.
This was reported on the website of the Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine.
Investigators found that Kherson resident Oleksandr Zaitsev voluntarily went into cooperation with the Russian Federation and took up the position of the so‑called head of the Association of Entrepreneurs and Employers of Kherson region.
Also, in 2023, while being in the occupied part of Kherson region, namely in Henichesk district, he repeatedly and publicly gave speeches supporting the actions of the Russian Federation and President Putin.

From publications in pro‑Russian media, one can see his comments regarding support of the Russian Federation, where Zaitsev is listed under different job titles.
In particular, in some he is indicated as the “head of the Combat Brotherhood of Kherson region”, as coordinator of a temporary accommodation point, and also as the head of the “Association of Entrepreneurs and Employers”.

Law enforcement agencies ascribe Zaitsev’s actions to Articles: 111-1 parts 1 and 6, and 436-2 part 1.
Also recently the SBU in absentia notified Russian General Oleksandr Korniev of suspicion, who took part in the occupation of Kherson in 2022.
