The Kherson City Court handed down a sentence to local resident Olha Holovachova, who during the occupation worked in an illegal ministry.
This is stated in the court verdict.
As the investigation established, in the summer of 2022 she assumed the position of head of the personnel department of the occupation’s Department of Labor and Social Policy of the Kherson region, and after the department was reorganized she received a position in the so-called ministry of labor and social policy.
Holovachova was involved in staff selection and supervised the work of the pseudo-institution’s employees.
One of the witnesses said that before the occupation of Kherson she had worked together with Holovachova at the Kherson branch of the Management of the Executive Directorate of the Social Insurance Fund of Ukraine in the Kherson region. During the occupation the witness came to this institution to collect belongings, and Holovachova approached them there and began offering a job in the occupation department, but she refused. Later the witness learned that Holovachova had moved to work in the so-called ministry.
After examining the evidence, the court found Olha Holovachova guilty of collaborationist activity in absentia. She was sentenced to 9 years’ imprisonment with confiscation of property.
