The court recovered from the Kakhovka Psychoneurological Boarding House of the Kherson Regional Council more than 650 thousand hryvnias of gas debt in favor of “Naftogaz Trading”.
This is stated in the court decision.
The court found that the communal institution did not pay for gas consumed in January and during the first 23 days of February 2022 – still before the occupation of Kakhovka. At the same time, the court refused to recover funds for gas supplied after 24 February 2022.
During the proceedings it was taken into account that the payment delays were related to the occupation of Kakhovka and to the fact that the boarding house is a communal institution. Because of this, the amount of the penalty was reduced by 50% – from over 97 thousand to 48.6 thousand hryvnias.
In addition to the amount of the debt, the court also recovered from the defendant inflationary losses, three percent per annum and part of the court fee. The total amount that the communal institution must pay exceeds 650 thousand hryvnias.
Earlier the court recovered from the Melitopol DBR over 11 thousand hryvnias of debt from 2022 for heat in favor of “Khersonteploenergo”.
