Students of the Kherson State Maritime Academy were awarded the President of Ukraine’s academic scholarships for high achievements in studies and scientific activity.
This was reported on the academy’s social media.
Among the scholarship recipients: Maksym Vasylyev — a student of the Faculty of Navigation, and Oleksii Topalov — a student of the Faculty of Ship Power Engineering.
The scholarships were awarded for the second semester of the 2025/2026 academic year.
Recall that in 2022, due to the occupation, the Kherson State Maritime Academy was forced to temporarily relocate to Odesa.
The Kherson campus buildings of the academy were repeatedly shelled by the Russian army. Because of the attacks, one of the buildings is currently in an emergency condition.
In July 2024, as a result of a fire, there was the destruction of the college building of the Kherson State Maritime Academy.
