Propagandist from Kherson region, who has been charged, is Ivan Yanovych.
This was reported by MOST’s sources.
Recall, this concerns a resident of Hryhorivka in Kakhovka district, who published propaganda videos on his own pages on YouTube and the social network “VKontakte”, which is banned in Ukraine.
Yanovych is a former entrepreneur. Before the war he owned the farm “Chaika Yug” in Hryhorivka, which was engaged in growing grain crops.
In the autumn of last year he founded, under Russian law, the so-called trade union of education workers.
Judging from Yanovych’s social media, after 2014 he moved to occupied Crimea, and then to Russia, and lived there until 2022, when the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine began.
According to open sources, after the start of the invasion Yanovych came to the occupied Kherson region and began to cooperate with the illegal authorities. He became a homeroom teacher and a teacher of physics and computer science at the Hryhorivka school that the Russians seized. He also worked at the seized Henichesk Medical College.
In the autumn of 2023 he ran for the occupation council of deputies of the so-called Kakhovka municipal district.
In his social media Yanovych indicated that he is the head of the branch of the party “A Just Russia – Patriots – For Truth” in the so-called Chaplynka municipal district.
