An athlete from the Kherson region, Alina Nemerets, won two bronze medals at the World Taekwon-Do I.T.F. Championship among juniors, adults and veterans.

Alina Nemerets participated in the competitions as part of the Ukrainian National Team and won medals in the disciplines “team sparring” and “team special technique”.
As a result, the national team finished 7th in the championship. The competitions, which took place in the Italian city of Jesolo, included 1185 participants from 56 countries around the world.
