A graduate of the Youth Sports School “Ukraine” of the Kherson City Council, Sofiya Maistrenko set personal records at the Ukrainian Cup in weightlifting for men and women.
This was reported on the Facebook page of the Youth Sports School “Ukraine” of the Kherson City Council.
Sofiya Maistrenko competed in the up to 63 kg weight category. Based on the results of the competition, the athlete finished fourth, setting personal records.
Thanks to this result, she earned the right to represent Ukraine at the 2026 European Junior Championships.
Recall that at the recent Ukrainian Weightlifting Championships, Sofiya Maistrenko won three bronze medals.
